About Dr. Carlos A. Sanchez
 

Dr. Carlos Sanchez received a B.S. degree in Biology from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, WA. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry with a D.D.S degree in 1991. Dr. Sanchez served in the United States Navy for three years before starting private practice in Kannapolis, NC. He currently provides patient care in Kannapolis and Concord in addition to his office in Cornelius.

During his service in the Naval Dental Corp, Dr. Sanchez received numerous awards and recognitions. He was consistently ranked first or second amongst his peers. He was honored by receiving the award for Clinical Excellence, Navy Achievement medal and a letter of commendation.

Dr. Sanchez concentrates his continuing education in the areas of TMJ dysfunction, root canal treatment, complex reconstruction of occlusion, implant placement and restoration, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Sanchez recently received the Fellowship of Academy of General Dentistry for his extraordinary dedication to general dentistry. He achieved this honor by completing a rigorous process that requires three years of membership in the AGD, over 500 hours of approved continuing education, as well as pass the fellowship exam which stresses clinical applications of accepted dental knowledge, techniques and procedures. He is now working on his goal of Mastership of Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Sanchez enjoys playing tennis and can be usually found on the golf course during and after office hours.
